This course is designed to introduce you to diving on a Wreck
Helping you develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in Wreck diving activities.
Divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they're intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.
To participate you must be 15 years of age or older, certified as a PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization similar to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver).
The course includes four open water training dives conducted over two days. During this time you will review the origin of shipwreck laws, identify hazards, conditions and various interesting facts about the wreck. In particular on Koh Tao we have the 742 Sattakut Navy Ship Wreck, where we conduct the dives. During the final wreck dives 3 and 4, you will focus on mapping the wreck, learning tie offs using reels and torches and penetrating the wreck.
