This course is designed to introduce you to deep diving
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course helps develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities.
After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There's something exciting and mysterious about the depth, take the plunge and feel narcosis at 40 meters.
To participate you must be 15 years of age or older, certified as a PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization similar to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver).
The course includes four open water training dives conducted over two days. During this time you will review risk factors and decompression-tables, safety stops and emergency decompression procedures; use special equipment, descent lines and buoyancy control considerations; procedures for flying after diving and an orientation to recompression chambers, to prepare you for the deeper depths of the underwater world.

If you already have an adventure training Deep Dive, then you only need 3 more dives to obtain this certification.
